RespoFit is a Respiratory Muscle Training Tool which improves the fitness & strength of the respiratory muscles by performing daily breathing exercises.
How to use RespoFit? Adjust RespoFit for a middle level of difficulty by opening 3 air holes in each side of it. Adjust the holes setting until you reach your suitable setting (Your suitable setting is reached when the weight reaches its end-position upon complete inhalation/exhalation). Notice: The load on the respiratory muscles increases by opening more holes of ring No.1 and/or closing more holes of ring No.2.
Stand upright and maintain proper posture. Focus specifically on the relaxation of your belly and chest muscles. Gently, deeply, and slowly breathe through your mouth. Inhale slowly through your RespoFit until you feel your belly has been full of air and the moving weight has reached its end position. Hold your breath for 2 seconds or as long as possible. Exhale slowly through your RespoFit until you feel your belly has been emptied of air and the moving weight has reached its end position. Every time you breathe in, your belly should fill up like a balloon," And every time you breathe out, that balloon should deflate". When your breathing is shallow, your shoulders get tense and move up and down, that's wasted energy & you don’t use your diaphragm muscles. Repeat the exercise 10 times to complete one set. Perform 3 sets to complete one training session. 3 sessions per day is recommended (morning, afternoon & evening. (Note: Rest for one minute between sets).
RespoFit is normally aimed for the following people: * Normal people & Athletes By using RespoFit, you increase your Aerobic Exercise range, there by the set in of fatigue is delayed. Therefore one can perform more physical activity without feeling pain. * Obesity Deep breathing exercises with RespoFit will increase the oxygen intake during exercise which will boost the metabolism and therefore help in the reduction of weight. Also an increase in the oxygen intake will allow the user to be more physically active. * Musicians & Singers. Musicians, especially wind instrumentalists, should use RespoFit to expand lung capacity and improve performance. RespoFit gives the musicians the proper mastery of breathing to aid in sustaining tones, intonation, volume and flexibility. * Pregnant women RespoFit during pregnancy is very crucial & every pregnant woman should regularly perform some breathing exercises. Because it can improve oxygen intake, circulation and support the body's normal functions so as to provide better nutrition and oxygen to the baby. * Elderly RespoFit is useful for everyone. RespoFit helps to increase the body’s oxygen levels for the elderly and which in turn can increase their energy and enjoyment of life. RespoFit can improve the functioning of the lungs, clear the lungs of toxins and pollutants, decrease physical and mental stress, reduce shortness of breath which affect their strength and stamina and improve their sleep and even improve their mood. * Diabetic patients (Respiratory Muscle Metaboreflex) Metaboreflex is the action taken by the body to supply more oxygen, and therefore more blood to the muscles of more vital organs, such as the heart or lung. This is caused by the lower fitness of the *muscles of there vital organs. When the Respiratory muscles are weak, they will need more oxygen to work efficiently, therefore the Oxygen delivery to the peripheral muscles will decrease (causing pain). Performing breathing exercise by RespoFit will increase the respiratory muscles strength. Accordingly, they will need less oxygen to work efficiently, and more oxygen will be available to reach the
* peripheral muscles.
Diabetic patients suffer from a decrease in their microcirculation in the peripherals after a maximum of five years from the onset of the disease which may cause numbness, pain, loss of sensation, and may develop to diabetic ulcers. By using RespoFit the microcirculation may increase by reducing the effect of the Metaboreflex.
* Asthma and COPD patients. RespoFit increases the strength & fitness of the respiratory muscles, and studies have shown that increasing the strength of the respiratory muscles has an important effect in the relief of Asthma and COPD symptoms. Please consult your physician before using RespoFit if you have any of these medical conditions.
*Cleaning -Dismantle the unit. Clean each part in warm water. Shake off excess water. Leave it on a clean towel to air dry.
